Suedabeh H. Ewing: I am a visual artist living in Wylie, TX. My specialty is in watercolor; I have painted with this medium for 15 years. I occasionally paint with oils and create prints as well. I am mostly inspired by nature's colors, shapes, and textures when creating my work. Before I start each painting, I look at aerial photos of Earth for inspiration or reference and sketch. Color is one of the main elements in my paintings. I believe it creates certain mood and/or feel depend on how it is used. Textures also add a tangible aspect to my work which gives an extra dimension to a two-dimensional painting, drawing or print.
